This Privacy Policy explains how Pentaclove LLC ("Pentaclove", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Hitch launcher and related services (the "Service").
1. Information we collect
Account information: if you create an account, we collect the email address and credentials you provide. Usage data: we collect a limited amount of diagnostic and usage information (such as crash reports and feature usage) to operate and improve the Service. Local data: your library, play history, and settings are stored on your device.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide and secure the Service, authenticate your account, fix bugs, understand how features are used, and communicate important updates. Some usage data is essential for the Service to run; the rest is optional and can be turned off in Settings.
3. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Service, when required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of Pentaclove and its users. Connecting third-party stores is subject to those platforms' own privacy practices.
4. Your choices and rights
You can adjust optional data collection in Settings at any time, and you may request access to or deletion of your account data, subject to applicable law. To make a request, contact legal@pentaclove.com.
5. Data retention and security
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes, and we use reasonable measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Children
The Service is not directed to children under the age required by your jurisdiction, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the date above and, where appropriate, provide notice through the Service.
